The best part is, you can\u2019t even taste them!  <\/li>\n<li><strong>eggs<\/strong> \u2013 you\u2019ll need 3 large eggs.  Adds additional protein and gives these brownies their structure and height.<\/li>\n<li><strong>greek yogurt<\/strong> \u2013 this takes the place of oil in these brownies while keeping them nice and moist, but you could use melted coconut oil as well.<\/li>\n<li><strong>cocoa powder<\/strong> \u2013 gives these brownies their chocolatey flavor!\u00a0 Just make sure to use <a href=\"https:\/\/urlgeni.us\/amzn\/wAOv2\">Dutch processed, natural cocoa powder<\/a>. You could also add a little espresso powder to enhance that rich chocolate taste!<\/li>\n<li><strong>baking powder<\/strong> \u2013 acts as a leavening agent to help these brownies rise, you can also use baking soda.<\/li>\n<li><strong>coconut sugar <\/strong>\u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/urlgeni.us\/amzn\/CCZOt\">coconut sugar<\/a> naturally sweetens these brownies without using any refined sugars, but <a href=\"https:\/\/urlgeni.us\/amzn\/cWLRt\">cane sugar<\/a>, white sugar, brown sugar or any type of granulated sugar will work. I haven\u2019t tested this using maple syrup or honey, but it should work just fine as well.<\/li>\n<li><strong>vanilla extract<\/strong> \u2013 you\u2019ll need 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for an extra boost of flavor.<\/li>\n<li><strong>chocolate chips<\/strong> \u2013 I used\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/urlgeni.us\/amzn\/G7fqZ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lily\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0which are gluten free chocolate chips and sweetened with stevia making the sugar content really low. You could also use\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/urlgeni.us\/amzn\/VSotR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lily\u2019s dark chocolate chips<\/a>\u00a0or milk chocolate chips.<\/li>\n<li><strong>salt<\/strong> \u2013 all you need is a pinch of kosher salt or sea salt to bring all these flavors together.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Make Flourless Chocolate Brownies<\/h2>\n<p>You can make this easy recipe in just 3 simple steps!<\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Make the batter. <\/strong> In a <a href=\"https:\/\/urlgeni.us\/amzn\/90Saz\">food processor<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/urlgeni.us\/amzn\/hBWeY\">high speed blender<\/a>, pulse black beans until mashed. Next add the eggs, yogurt, unsweetened cocoa powder, coconut sugar, vanilla, baking powder and salt, processing the chocolate mixture until smooth.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bake brownies.<\/strong> Mix in the <a href=\"https:\/\/urlgeni.us\/amzn\/G7fqZ\">chocolate chips<\/a> and pour brownie batter into a greased <a href=\"https:\/\/urlgeni.us\/amzn\/U1uPk\">cast iron skillet<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/urlgeni.us\/amzn\/jJ83i\">8\u00d78 prepared pan<\/a> (square baking dish) lined with parchment paper. Bake brownies for 30 to 35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cool and serve.<\/strong>  Let the brownies cool completely in the baking pan before slicing. I might need to make a flourless chocolate cake next!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gluten-free brownies <\/strong>\u2013 these brownies are made with gluten-free ingredients so no substitutes needed.  Your gluten-free friends will thank you!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Vegan brownies<\/strong> \u2013 these brownies use whole eggs, but feel free to substitute with 3 flax eggs (1 tablespoon <a href=\"https:\/\/urlgeni.us\/amzn\/1b3Ek\">flaxseed<\/a> + 3 tablespoons water for each egg). Easy egg substitute!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Skillet or pan<\/strong> \u2013 you can bake these healthy flourless brownies either way! Using an <a href=\"https:\/\/urlgeni.us\/amzn\/jJ83i\">8\u00d78 square pan<\/a> makes them easier to slice into 16 perfect squares, but the <a href=\"https:\/\/urlgeni.us\/amzn\/U1uPk\">skillet<\/a> is a fun way to serve a crowd with some ice cream on top.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Drizzle with chocolate<\/strong> \u2013 melt <a href=\"https:\/\/urlgeni.us\/amzn\/G7fqZ\">chocolate chips<\/a> or chopped chocolate in a small bowl in the microwave in 30 second intervals or saucepan on low heat and whisk until smooth.
